Are you my first ex-husband? ![]()
He wouldn’t eat a meatless meal and disliked vegetables unless they were incidentally on a pizza.
I was vegetarian for probably 10 years, but it got harder as the kids got older and weren’t. Plus when I acquired my current husband, I discovered that while he would eat vegetarian dishes, he wasn’t going all-veg, no how. I do all the cooking (which is not a problem; I love to cook) so it was just easier to go back to meat.
That said, I really prefer vegetarian. I do enjoy meat now again, but I’d give it up easily. If I ever cook just for myself, it’s always vegetarian or vegan.
I think I’m going to move this to Cafe Society, since it does revolve around food. From IMHO.
I dated a vegan…Does that count?
Did she eat…Oh nevermind.
I’m not quite that bad. I was exaggerating. There are a few veggies I like and a couple I can tolerate. But not that many. I could never be a vegetarian.
We are vegetarians on Mondays and Thursdays, usually. Other days, meat is king.
Well, in that case, I guess technically she was a lacto-ovo vegetarian/vegan. ![]()
No, unless you have milk and eggs coming out of your dick
Uh huh. I have a ‘milk’ of sorts coming out. It’s called a “joke”. Geez.
Milk coming out of it, and the eggs hanging just under the sausage… I think that she wouldn’t count as a meat-eater unless she bit, tho.
I’m a 2nd-order vegetarian. I only eat animals that were vegetarian.
Actually, I do plan on becoming a 1st-order vegetarian some day. I actually wish that my parents, who are vegetarians, would have forced me to become one when I was young. Instead, they mistakenly let me make my own decision. They regret it and I regret it.
Lacto-ovo vegetarian for 20 years now. I didn’t like meat, so I stopped eating it. I’ve never really cared if others eat it, though.
Um, I was making a joke too. I got you were joking. Derp
I love steak too much to be a vegetarian.
Oh, consider it lost in translation then. I apologize. ![]()
I put myself down as not vegetarian, but I generally only have meat with one or two meals a week. I don’t think I’ll ever be rid of my desire for the occasional steak, or bacon.
I am NOT a vegatarian but I can’t live without my veggies. i tried the Atkins diet one time and couldn’t handle the low vegtable (2 cups a day total). I don’t eat meat less meals and considor those snacks.
No way, no how, not never. A day without meat is unthinkable.
I get a lot more vegetable material in my food than I used to, but it’s mostly stuff like onions and peppers, there to help the meat taste even better. I can’t stand most vegetables and couldn’t choke most of them down on a dare.
A CHALLENGE! You would eat my vegetables, hon.
