I had never heard of this before, and I’m astonished. A populist uprising against corrupt authority actually won once upon a time? And the Feds/ State didn’t take their usual “above all else, order” stance and side with the county sheriff? This is almost like a libertarian fantasy come true!
It is hard to believe that the former first lady spoke so highly of the insurgents, especially considering how much some segments of the population wanted to find a way to humiliate her.
