Yes, the history of the armed forces are replete with various “crackdowns” which cumulatively appear to have had little or no effect on the fact that young soldiers like to get laid, and the armed services are almost all male.
Deserves its own thread, which I have started in the Pit under the title, “Lynndie England sentence proves UCMJ works as intended!”
the link you provide deals with a person charged with a number of offences :
quote from article:In pleading guilty Tuesday, Davis admitted to running illicit police undercover operations; accepting cash and gifts from club owners; maintaining illicit sexual liaisons with bar girls; violating the U.S. military’s curfew that the town patrol had the duty of enforcing; being drunk and disorderly; having sex with women who were not his wife; illegally possessing weapons; illegally maintaining an off-base apartment; using racial and ethnic slurs; filing a leave request with false information as to his intended destination; and maintaining an improper relationship with a subordinate airman.
In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to drop several earlier charges, including rape and assault
its not really relevant .
as for my link it says that a brothel was set up near the barracks (who was it for?) and no one was saying a thing until the philipino gov interfered on behalf of its citizens in korea. I am not saying that its army policy to use prostitutes…i am saying that it goes on and it has to be tolerated, and its perfectly understandable.
It shows though that the sacking of the General had little to do with his sexuall activities otherways they should dismiss half the US army.
So an on point article isn’t relevant and you pretend that the Army’s at fault for an illegal outfit that the Air Force is actively assisting the local government with eradicating. Interesting assertion.
