Sir Arthur is OK in the wake of the terrible tsunamis in indonesia. He spoke today about the event. Oddly enough he wrote about a tsunami in his first book on Sri Lanka. A tsunami created when krakatoa blew.

Whew! I’m somewhat embarrased to say I hadn’t even thought about him when I heard the news. I am both glad to hear he’s OK and saddened at the huge human catastrophe all around the Indian Ocean.
