What unusual or out - of - place thing have you seen, lately?
I stopped by this fixer upper out at the ranch a couple of weeks ago. I think this was its stove top. Also found some large septarian nodules that are ‘quite’ a bit older, probably Cretaceous artifacts.
Go to rural West Virginia, you’ll have all sorts of fun. It’s like 15 years in the past there sometimes.
The mysterious grid ball, of course. (Still no resolution on ownership, fans.)
On a building in the same facility, a dormitory abandoned since at least the early 1980s, there are some very creepy plywood cutout elves or smurfs or something. The weathered state leaves them with few details except for huge eerie black eyes… watching… you.
Many such things in abandoned buildings in the area that I’ve photographed over the last year.
It wasn’t recently, but before I moved, I would sometimes see a rather portly man wearing a top hat and walking 2 geese on leashes. I loved the randomness of it.
