I watched a few Colin Baker & Sylvester McCoy episodes once in while, but I really didn’t enjoy them, and some chesty young British women in spandex with a terrible (attempted) American accent was also in the storyline and very annoying, so I stopped watching. Are the episodes on DVD now. What’s the best place to re-start.
Some are on DVD, and they release a two every couple of months. My collection is packed away now, so I don’t know off the top my head what’s been released, but it wouldn’t hurt to watch the early Tom Baker serials - Robot, The Ark in Space, Genesis of the Daleks…I think all of those are out on DVD.
The Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy years haven’t really improved with time, although some of the Seventh Doctor/Ace stories, like “Curse of Fenric,” are good. Otherwise, if you’ve already seen the best of Pertwee/Baker I/Davison, I’d suggest skipping Docs Six and Seven and going straight to Doctor Nine, Christopher Eccleston.
You dodged a bullet with missing out on Violet Elizabeth, aka Mel, aka Bonnie Langford.
