Does anyone know of any sites devoted to reviewing, and analyzing the actual effectiveness of, all of those miraculous “As seen on TV” products and infomercials? I already know about Consumer Reports. I’m looking for other sources, preferably free.

Not any official, but in IMHO there are a few “endorsement” threads. A recent one was called I think, “products that really work” or something similar, you might like to search for it. It touched on a lot of TV products.
Well, a recent issue of Reader’s Digest had a review of several as-seen-on-TV items. I’ll find which issue it was if you want to look for it.
