Beck - Mine has the zipper too. In my case though it’s especially a pillow case that the pillow comes in. I can take it off and wash it.
The feathers are completely contained in another cloth ‘bag’ inside of that zip off one. You should check it out, carefully.
Why isn’t butt-dialing the same as booty-calling?

It reminds me of a time when two of our dogs decided to tear apart our feather pillows. Our bedroom floor was covered, deep, in feathers.
I had to just laugh, and laugh, and laugh. I just picture them having a great time.
Do it slow Beck. These cases may not all be the same. But open an inch or two of the zipper will show you what you if there is an inner casing.
