I didn’t understand it either, but he was an excellent regular customer who spent a lot of money with us. He couldn’t stomach the idea of thawing a prey item, and didn’t feed live because he found it cruel. So he was left with the option of pre-kill or “snake sausages” which he also found revolting.

“Sausages”? Like… regular sausages but with snake-approved filling?

That’s kind of neat. :smiley: Do they have ground bones or other calcium supplementation in them? (I’m assuming there’s no whole bones, which would probably be easier on the digestive tract.)

I’ve seen these species outside, but how would they do rooming together in a vivarium?

I once found a veiled chameleon outside in Michigan, in Freaking November! I was VERY greatful that we we able to get it to the exotic petstore. They provided it a safe home and eventually got it to the local exotic lizard rescue organization. I wish I had known enough about lizards to keep him, he was huge and cute
