Some class As and some fifth wheels have washer/dryers. Most of them are pretty small and will only handle a small load. Some people love them but many of the ones I have talked to don’t use them much because of the limited load.
Say you wanted to move to another country to carry on the good life, would the UK be a place worth considering?
I’ve always fancied the idea of living in a nice Winnebago, if I had a windfall. Would I still have to pay Council Taxes, or would my automobile taxation cover me? I’m sure it can’t be as simple as just parking up wherever there are no restrictions?
Sorry, I know nothing about RVing in the UK or what taxes are involved.
If you go to http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php or http://www.rv.net/forum/ and ask you will probably get some info. There are UK members on both forums.
The really big ones have triple axles, multiple slides, built-in generators, etc. In other words: big, long and heavy. I’ve seen 5th wheels with king-sized beds in them. They require a minimum 1-ton pickup (a Ford F-350, for example) with a Turbo-Max diesel to pull them. Most people will tow them to someplace where they want to stay for awhile and park them. A slab isn’t necessary, of course; I only meant that they are designed for long-term living, if desired.
