Ask the satellite tv tech

Whats the easiest way to get tv2(dish network) to upstairs when currently its hooked up in the basement?

What, really, is the scoop on splitting the signal after the LNB feed? Is there a splitter on the market now that could deliver a quality signal to two receivers?

I had Dish, standard, Dual LNA, I believe. One dish, pointed southish, if I recall.

Then I upgraded to HD. They tossed the single dish on the ground, and mounted TWO dishes up there, one pointed southishand one 90 degrees off, towards the east.

Why?

Second question, which isn’t, is why is the price constant? I drop channels, the bill goes down for a month, then it jumps right back up… /sigh. And I don’t even watch TV.

For god’s sake, pull up your pants. Oh, I’m sorry. For god’s sake, will you pull up your pants?

there are shirts with extra long tails and extra long t-shirts just to prevent that problem. kind of a niche product though.

Now that low-rise jeans have taken over women’s fashion, I’ve also found long shirts to be useful.

Not quite sure what you are asking here. At the risk of sounding like a smart ass you just need a cable(coax RG6)to the room. Check to see if it is diplexed at tv1 or a straight run to tv2. If it is diplexed(the diplexer looks like a splitter)find the other diplexer usually in the attic disconnect VHF/UHF and hook up new tv2. Ihope that answers the question.

Kendrask depending on where you live you might have an Eastern Arc setup and if t
here is a local channel that you must get from out of market you need the Wing dish

Leaffan there is not a splitter rated at a high enough frequency to handle the split hence each receiver needs its own feed.
Oslo most places can get locals on Dish around here at least Direct does not offer locals
M.O.L. yes maam my pants are pulled up and shirt tail tucked in
