Unfortunately, anything that will cause pain to the people actually responsible for this shit-show in Ukraine will cause the ordinary Russian to suffer, but if that is not done then we will continue to see the same people create more shit-shows, destruction, and death for their selfish benefit.
While Putin is a single person he also represents a mindset of others who would be under the same microscope.
So it would depend on how big of a revolution takes place. Think of what occurred in the French Revolution. We always hear the name Marie Antoinette thrown around but she was one of many people caught up in it.
