The same is true of physics, which has a much better track record.
That’s why one uses physics for building rockets and stuff, and astrology for entertainment and storytelling. Both rockets and stories have value.
If only everyone felt the way you did about stories, and stopped trying to take all of them so seriously.

Thanks. I, too, have often thought the world would be a better place if there were more people around like me. 
And I think it’s possible to take some stories seriously without necessarily taking them literally.
