So, can I take a batch of pot brownies on a cruise to, say, Bermuda or other resort?
If I vacuum seal them in plastic, wash with a bleach solution could a dog actually smell it?
Discussed at length in this thread about someone named Mariana.
I read that post, but it did not answer my question very directly. The OP was asking if metal containers are effective and I wish to know specifically about vacuum sealers.
First, do they care if you take it and if so, do they employ the use of sniffing dogs?
Would it help to double seal a bag?
Good heavens, I have chronic insomnia, and the only thing that works is weed. If i can’t take it on the ship, I can’t go.
A simple google search for “bermuda cruise marijuana” will answer both of your questions in the affirmative.
Look. I read those posts too, but they do not address the use of BROWNIES. I wish to bring BROWNIES on the cruise so I don’t have to smoke it and permeate the ship with the smell of it.
Of course you could get hassled if you are brazenly blowing it all over the place. Idiots.
I have taken these confections on domestic planes all the time and I put them in my non- carry-on baggage. Never had a problem, even when I could see that my bags were searched.
Do they go through your bags that you do not carry on with you on a ship?
You’re good to go. Dogs are sniffing for bombs - C4, TNT, PETN, not pot in a brownie form. However, they are capable of sniffing pot through vacuum bags, but I highly doubt DHS K9 are trained for that.
Legally under US and British laws? No.
Yes.
You smell ‘brownies’ - dogs smell cocoa, sugar, flour, eggs, water, and, if you add it, marijuana. All separately, all distinctly. And vacuum seal plastic bags will hide the aroma from them for only a very short time before it has been permeated with the odor in quantities sufficient for the dogs.
You could always drink yourself to sleep. That is not only legal but encouraged by both governments.

We do not allow threads here where you’re asking for help committing an illegal act. The other thread was pushing it. This one’s over the line. Closed.
