If second-class citizenship, officially sanctioned Kristallnacht-style harassment, or roundups of US citizens or Green Card holders based on national origin, race, religion, or some other protected status begins, we’re outta’ here. I don’t mean microaggressions or the kind of discrimination we see now, but rather, revoking the voting rights or limiting the right to free movement for Muslims, star-and-crescent armbands, and the like.
