At Your Invitation, Colibri

Here is the thread opened after reading the threads concerning Shodan’s ban and the nine page thread discussing Shodan’s ban, neither of which seemed to reach any definitive consensus.

So, at your invitation, I’ll ask a slightly modified paid of questions:

Would a statement about a female politician’s husband being pitied for having to look at her naked be misogynist, or otherwise contrary to the SDMB’s rules?

Would a statement about a male politician’s wife being pitied for having to look at his naked body be contrary to any SDMB rules?

Boy this sure looks like an attempt at a gotcha, why don’t you just link to whatever you think is your gotcha?

I’m guessing it’s about post #10 in this thread?

I too would appreciate a clarification of what exactly the OP is on about.

It would also be good if the OP thinks the post in question might be against the rules, that they should have reported it (which he did not).

No one else has reported the post. This appears to be a backhand way to report a post without actually reporting it. I am going to close this and ask the OP to report the post he thinks is against the rules, and wait a reasonable amount of time for moderator action before questioning a lack of action.

Further discussion should be based on actual cases, counselor, and not hypotheticals.
