Atlanta and the Gay Games

To summarize: “``We think it [selling lots of tickets to a group leading Atlanta’s bid for the 2006 Gay Games]‘s the right thing to do and a smart business decision,’’ Braves spokesman Jim Schultz said.”

And “``We’re no more condoning or endorsing a lifestyle than we condone or endorse the beliefs of a certain church organization or civic group that buys 300 tickets.’’”

Except for the lifestyle bit, this was rather pleasant news:)
