Hey, I don’t want to brag or anything but…
I just installed my own 128mg ram into my ibook, all by myself. Read over the instructions a couple of thousand times, thought about it a long time, looked at the ram thing for a couple of days.
And THEN…
I thought about all the encouraging techies out there. Because though they don’t know it they have each helped me to reach the place I am today.
Now I know you’re thinking, big whooop, installed some ram, get over it! Well, I’m a newbie, and an oldster and technically challenged so it WAS a big deal for me. And I wasn’t sure whether I was being brave or foolhardy. After all I adore my blueberry laptop, I’d just die if I broke it. I know, they make it easy just for folks like me, but well, sometimes the easiest things aren’t always!
Since I can’t locate every techie I ever called on the phone to talk me down from my many and varied states of distress. I just thought I’d thank all you guys instead. Since I know you’ve all dealt with people like me, thanklessly I’m sure. And I’m sure you rarely hear about any of us getting any smarter for all your advise. Well, I’m here to tell you I am smarter and braver and more confident. Hell, the first time I tried it didn’t work correct and the ibook didn’t see it. I was tempted to call my tech headed friend, but I didn’t, I went over it again and redid it, and with a small snap into place it went!
So I am offering you techheads out there, you know who you are, who thanklessly lend your brain and encouragement to folks like me, my undying thanks and the following blessing:
