Are you feeling powerless to effect change in our country? Do you feel strongly about stem cell research?

If you have said yes to either question, how about we push through MA senate bill 515 for stem cell research! Right now, it’s stuck in the Commitee on Science and Technology. The likelihood of this bill passing in light of California’s success, is much higher than before. Plus, if we can harness the energy of dispirited Liberals, we can push this baby through! I have contact information for committee members and all that I am requesting is that you take the time to call at least one member this week. If you’re interested in this issue and want to make sure that our biotech industry doesn’t pull up stakes for CA, please contact me. Thanks!

Good news! Within one day of the calling campaign, we got a response from the committee. It turns out, the bill has to be re-filed by the sponsor, Cynthia Creem of Newton. Hopefully the campaign has created a pull effect for the bill. Next week, we can contact Senator Creem for the push campaign. :smiley:
