I thought jacklighting only mattered when hunting protected/regulated species. For feral pet species or coy dogs, I don’t think it would matter.
I think coyotes are some of the neatest mammals going.
But I agree - coy dogs are a hazard to health and property. As Cowgirl Jules said, they’re far worse than coyotes, because they have no ingrained fear of humans, nor timidity. A very bad comgination in a breed that is heavier than the average coyote.
