Why can’t people understand? There are standard formats for dates!
Lots of mass weddings on this side of the world on this auspicious day.
But the computers crashed in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district office from all the couples trying to register there. Bang Rak, in central Bangkok, is one of the city’s 50 districts. It literally means “Place of Love,” and Thais consider it an especially auspicious place to register their marriages. The district office sees a lot of action on auspicious days such as today and even the Western Valentine’s Day, February 14.
By an odd coincidence, the Patpong red-light district is located in Bang Rak, heh. ![]()
12/12/12 is a huge day for weddings here in Las Vegas as well.
My guess is that 1/3/13 will be a big day for the now-sober quickie-divorces.
And the Chinese will save us with their Great Ball of China.
Thats interesting, don’t the chinese have a different year count like the hebrew? Just another day. by Grace.
What about the rest of the solar system, is that ending too? What about the Milky Way galaxy? Maybe it will go first, and we can watch the show.
They do, but so do the Thais – the year is 2555 in Thailand – but they still think the world is going to end on the 21st. :smack:
