It’s definitely the right font. But maybe it’s a little too small. . . ?
Woohoo!! Thanks much! E-mail is on the way…
Huh…that’s odd. Well, as my wife just said, “Ah, if it winds up only being an inch smaller, that’d be fine with me.”
Then I started snickering.
Then she hit me.
Yea… it looked like 7" when I was holding it… I guess my estimating has been off all this time
You guys are bad!
Naughty!
Love it!
I sent your letter out this afternoon. It should only take a few days to get there. So, by Monday HAYLA should be SHAYLA.
Actually, that was bear_nenno posting using my computer. Way to go bear, good job not clearing the cookies before you posted…

:smack:
I guess Wal-Mart just doesn’t give a S…
Have you considered changing the spelling of her name to Xela? Because that’d be awesome.
What, did you lose a bet?
You know how there are perfect jobs, some people have them? Well, I have the perfect job, except for this tiny part. It’s painful and I try to do it first thing in the morning before I actually wake up.
Probably the result of a lifetime of telling women that this [------------------------------------------] is 6".
D&R
I’m glad an S showed up, because there wasn’t one at my “most local” Walmart. I am sure I will be heading to a “less local” one in a week or so; I’ll see if they have a seven incher.
If there’s a caveat, it’s not perfect. Perfect means nothing is wrong, everything is right.
So you have a good job, with a drawback or three…as do we all.
Speak for yourself. My job sucks!
Some drawbacks are bigger than others.
Yes, some are 6 inches and some are 7.
Update –
Good news: Woohoo!! The “S” has arrived, and it’s exactly the same size as the other letters!
Bad news: Someone in the Postal Service was a bit clumsy, since it’s busted into a pair of "C"s.
Good news: I own a tube of Crazy Glue.
I’ll be gluing it back together tonight, and once it’s painted you’ll never even know it was cracked. Pictures to follow over the weekend. Thanks a ton, Bear_Nenno…you rock!
No problem at all.
Hmmmm, maybe it was the angle. I hear if you look at it in the mirror, it looks bigger. . .
