Attila and Greek food

I have encountered several restaurants using “Attila” in their names and it always turns out to be Greek food. What’s the connection between Attila and Greek food?

Are you sure about the spelling? Are you sure it isn’t “Attica”, which is a geographical area in Greece?

On this day in 451 AD, Attila the Hun was finally defeated at the battle of the Catalaunian Fields by a combined force of Romans, Visigoths and their allies under the leadership of Aetius. Attila escaped capture but died later on his wedding night. Attila’s Greek scribes recorded that he had sacked and leveled over 300 cities and killed 4.2 million people, mainly Latin-speaking Roman citizens.

And if you are sure that you would never confuse a “C” with an “L”, note that the Greek spelling would be ATTIKA/Attika/[symbol]ATTIKA/Attika[/symbol] where the vertical stroke of the “K” might be misleading, depending on the script or font.
