Did anybody ever work up Blackadder’s stats for AD&D?
Blackadder II, would be best.

Class? I don’t know. Maybe Rogue/Aristocrat. Not a high level.
I’d raise his charisma to maybe a 15 or 16 and as for alignment I’d lean more towards Neutral. Level not a high level… but not a low level either.
I’d make him Chaotic Neutral. He’s not EVIL. He’s bad.
Midlevel Aristocrat/Expert, or Low-Midlevel Rogue if you insist on PC classes.
Al’s stats look about right. I’ll buck the trend and call his Alignment as Neutral Evil, tending towards True Neutral. He’s a selfish, self-absorbed prig with ambitions towards tyranny, and the only reason he doesn’t try to inflict harm on others (mostly Prince George and Baldrick) more often is fear of the consequences if caught. He’s moderately adaptable, but tends to get a little lost if things don’t go as he expected - he can adjust, but it takes time. Also, while he chafes under authority (feeling he should be on top), he uses it well.
And I’ve just realised my examples are for III not II (I always get them mixed up for some odd reason). It holds, save for replacing Prince George with Lord Percy.
Blackadder III is NE, I’ll hand you that. Blackadder I is too. But II is a completely different character - he has friends, he’s capable of falling in love, and occasionaly he lets his principles get in the way of his ambitions. Granted, these principles are usually of the “You’re a bloody git!” variety, but still. He’s not evil.
As for his charisma, if there was a “slickness” ability score he’d get a 20 (18 natural, +2 from exp). But if he was so charismatic, why does everyone hate him?
I’d describe Blackadder 2 as a Fighter/Rogue.
Because he certainly has at least a double specialization in throwing knives. Ludwig the Indestructable could testify to that.
