Auggie, The Cutest Dog on the Planet ™, is mostly white with black patches. He is also a door darter. We have a fenced back yard, but he wants to go where he’s not supposed to be. This morning, he slipped out while I was getting our papers. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac, so I wasn’t too worried about his safety at 7:00 on Sunday a.m.
I got the papers and came in the house and got his leash. When I went back out, I saw him across the street. There is a basset hound there that he likes, and I figured he was tormenting the poor guy. "Ha, ha, I'm out and you're not!!" And I noticed that he was inside the fence! How did that happen? So, I headed there with my leash.
Auggie came running up behind me. I put the leash on him, and went into my neighbor's yard to get a closer look at her new dog that looks so much like Auggie.
Only it wasn't a dog.
It was a Gateway box.
