Is there anyone in Australia, or somewhere near to Australia (New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. maybe) that does tech support or other technology related work? Or have a Quality Assurance background?
My new company is trying to sell some software to a major wine distributor based in Adelaide. A sticking point is that we really don’t have a presence in the region. We might be able to give work to someone on a retainer type basis to be our tech support. This could potentially grow into a larger position supporting the region.Specific technology involved is Lotus Notes/ Domino, so that would be a huge plus, but we’d be willing to consider training someone with the right aptitude.

I know someone (my dad, actually) who has recently started a business that does windows/desktop support for small businesses - based in Melbourne.

That’s the sort of field I’m in, though more BA/App Dev and we’re a Notes/Domino site, although I’m based in Sydney. Would be interested in hearing more.
