Austin City Limits 3-day passes sold out. Options/strategies?

My friends and I waited too long to decide to go to ACL. Between Sunday and today, the 3-day passes (which were $185) have sold out. Now, you can buy individual day passes for $85 or go to StubHub and buy a 3-day for $300. That’s out of our price range.

A few years ago, I noticed that the asking price for secondhand ACL tickets started high (although not this high) and then declined until, a week or so beforehand, they were trading hands for not much greater than face value. Was that a fluke? How does secondary market ticket pricing work nowadays? Most importantly, should we hold out for better pricing or give up on the whole thing? Obviously, nobody wants to make non-refundable travel plans until they have a ticket in hand.
