I saw her speak last year at Hamilton College- had to sit next to two sniggering jerkoffs there for class credit, but it was worth it. Strangely, one of the reasons I made sure to go was that I had passed up an opportunity to see Stephen Jay Gould speak just a few months before he died, and now I try to take advantage of every noteworthy (free) lecture that comes my way.
