In the midst of investigations about police misdeeds, I suspect a lot of this is cheap PR designed to curry favor and distract from bad cop tricks currently in the news.
Sure it’s PR, but she started the thread in 2016.
I thought of this thread when a woman posted on our local Pay It Forward Facebook page that she was going to host a birthday party for her soon-to-be 6-year-old daughter, and only one person RSVP’ed. I mentioned contacting the police and fire department, and a TV station, and also accused her of gift grabbing, in part because it did seem to be exactly that.
She did add to not judge her Venmo name, which was something like “Hotsexybabe69420.” Yeah, I don’t think I’d want my 6-year-old around someone who admits to having a Venmo name like that either.
When I have a birthday party, I’m gonna invite zombies.
