Auto Insurance-Geico or Progressive Experiences?

Progressive for about 10 years on three vehicles; one small claim with no issues. My rates have been pretty steady on the car and on the bikes they have actually come down some. One thing I hear is that (on the bikes) I won’t get anything for extras I’ve added unless I document the living shit out of them in advance but that’s common for almost anyone anymore.

I used to have Geico but they raised the rates every single year (this was for motorcycles - no claims).

I switched to Progressive and it gets cheaper every year. Again, no claims. I have 4 motorcycles insured and the incremental cost for adding another is not nothing, but nearly.

I did have one near claim with Progressive: Car ran into my motorcycle. The owner said he would pay out of pocket. I got his insurance info and said I would contact my own just in case he decided not to once I got the expensive repair quote. I contacted Progressive and a local guy showed up like an hour later, documented the damage and told me to let him know if guy bailed. Got the quote, guy paid me in cash. Done.
