Automatically saving webpages for offline use

I have a professor that is constantly adding and removing information such as hints, test questions, and extra credit opportunities on his website. There are some days where I’ll forget to check the site or not have the time to check it when the information may be there. I know that IE lets you store certain webpages offline and sync them at scheduled times, but is there a program or way to have my computer cache the site similar to what google does something like twice a day to my computer? This way I can just pull up the images of the site later in the day when I have time to look at them and also avoid having to print out the information everytime he changes something. Thanks in advance!

"Save Yesterday’s Web Sites for Tomorrow’s Use

Many web sites change rapidly, and it is hard to find information that was there just days earlier. With Offline Explorer, you can make an archive of files that interest you, and access them at any time, even if the original web site no longer exists."

You can also do a search for similar products on download.com

Well if you just want to look at them later, after you have viewed them… go into your temporary internet files. I haven’t been on 98 for a while… but it might be x:/windows/temporary internet files/Content.IE5
x being your hard drive letter. All this provided that your computer is set to save temp. int. files. Check options -> General -> Temp. Internet Files -> settings
Then I guess you could schedule for your internet explorer to refresh that site twice a day?
I don’t know if that helped.

If you’re comfortable writing batch/script files, wget would be the perfect thing; this is what it was invented for. It’s free, and it’s available for many platforms, but it will take signifigant effort to get it set up the way you need it.
