Well I used the search box and I couldn’t find any thread like this on the first page so here it goes.
What is the average age of a SD forum user?
My guess is somewhere between 20s and 40s.

It changes daily.
However, there was a poll within the last year or two. Someone smarter than I can probably find it.
Perhaps we could have monthly or yearly age polls then.

Wow, I’m already taken aback by how many older folks we have here.
We were young in 1990s. Now forums give way to new generations of Social Media.
Yes, I joined in my 30’s, but I’m now in my 50’s.
You might get some ideas at In which 5-year period were you born? which has gotten 555 votes between 04-10-2013, 11:29 AM and #69 07-12-2015, 03:42 PM
The fact that birth year ranges were voted on means you have to do the math to find ages but they are as accurate as the current time. Older threads doing similar things are out there. too.
50s but not for much longer.
Thanks for the link.
Me, too. But we totally RULE!!! dude.

Heyyy! I’m still on the young side of the SDMB bell curve for age!
Totally awesome, dude!
Teens. Alone in my youth! goes back to reddit
Who you callin’ older?!!?
That’s fine as long as you don’t cut across my lawn to get there, you durn whippersnapper!
I’m 29, but turn 30 in two months, so I voted 30’s. I work with a lot of people of different ages…I have nothing in common with most of the people under 25. Most of my friends from work are all at least 5 to 20 years older than me. Some of them even forget that I am as young as I am.
How is this comparison relevant?
Each of these sites is totally different.

Ah! I can say 30s for a few more months.
Really, it’s comparing apples and bus stations.
