Maybe he should hire Trump’s staff. I understand he’s been hiring “the best people - seriously, the best!”. I don’t know where he’s keeping them since there’s no evidence of them, but we’ve been assured that he only hires the best people.
We don’t know since they say he’s not taking their advice.
Yes, John Hanson. These students all believed/were taught that John Hanson was the 1st President of the United States of America.

I must say I was laughing at the first quoted paragraph; it was only when I got to the second that I realized you hadn’t taken leave.
But I think there are many “outliers” by the time you get to the level of a Governor or U.S. Senator. LBJ-Nixon-Ford-Carter — there are four Presidents in a row that knew their stuff. George Romney had knowledge and most Presidential candidates do; it’s just the outliers (Carson, Trump, GWB, etc.) who are ridiculous.
Where I think a Trump would make mincemeat of the average Doper or average college grad is on demeanor and a sort of street smarts! It’s very easy to get flustered, or even lose one’s temper. Hillary managed to smile throughout the Trump torture (or a Benghazi inquisition), yet still stung him with a zinger now and then. It’s performances like that that give me confidence she could be a great President.
Similarly, I was pleased with Kaine’s debate performance. Pence turned every question into an opportunity to lie about Hillary, yet Kaine kept his cool. And this sort of cool, in interactions with other politicians, foreign leaders and the public, is very important in a leader.
