What is the average age of all humans currently alive?
This should be an easy question to answer, but I keep coming up with it broken down to countries, or life expectancy. Neither is what I’m looking for.

I think you mean median, when you say average.
Since you’re unlikely to have any real statistical outliers in the population sample (and even if you did, one or two 500 year olds wouldn’t make a dent against 7 billion other people), the two should be practically the same, no?

I am thinking of all the week old babies.
They would affect the median, too.
And on the other end, there are plenty of folks in their 80s and 90s who are 1 week away from death.
Why would you think that? I mean, a man could mean mean or mean median but on the available evidence it’s only fair to assume he means what he says, if you see what I mean.
Now you’re just being mean.
