Well, last night’s ep featured Marlena voting off John the needy little whiner, and what’s-his-name the Venezuean hunk.
She voted off the Venezuelan hunk because she said he revealed “too much information” about himself on their first date. But, actually, most of what she was reacting to was his description of this awful former girlfriend of his, not anything he said about himself. “Ew, his former girlfriend went to jail, that obviously means that he must be an awful person too!”
Bleah. I really, really do not like Marlena.
Next week, it looks like they’re going do be doing the whole Shallow Hal “put on a fat suit” bit. Those guys must be pretty dense if they can’t see that the woman they’re talking to is wearing a face-covering disguise when they’re sitting right across from her.

John’s thing about the kiss on the cheek before the polo game giving him the strength to compete – sorry, that was just weird.
Yikes! Zach is still in it – who’da thunk? I’m rooting for Adam, though. I like that guy. He seems totally good-natured and yet smart and together.
I’ll be so bummed if Melana goes for one of the pretty boys – though the Evan Marriot lookalike is pretty damn toothsome.

I didn’t think they Venezuelan guy was hot. He seemed…greasy…and not cute.
I forgot the model’s name but he is pretty cute. Much cuter than the Joe Millionaire guy. I LUV me some curly hair.
I really don’t like her though. I was slightly pissed when the “hotties” were supposed to be serving dinner to her and the average Joe’s and here she is in the kitchen with them. I don’t think that was how things were supposed to go. Ugh.
Why did I get suckered in on this show? I was doing so good by not watching the new Joe Millionaire.
Unfortunately, your ability to resist Joe Millionaire II doesn’t really say much of anything about your will power – that was just bad. 
Yeah, but at least the women on that show had bad foreign accents to make fun of. Marlena’s just got a typical modern Valley Girl accent.
John was pathetic, and had to go. “Here, take this rock that I collected on our date to make me believe what we had was real”. Tone it down about 3 octaves, John. And the Hispanic/Italian guy did go overhoard with the details of his “x”. Let’s see-- he’s a South American guy with an drug addicted ex-girlfriend. Why complicate your life with this when there are other guys standing in line.
I say she goes for the waiter guy. Not the Joe Millionaire guy, but the other newbie (can’t remember his name). The chemistry was palpable. Of course, the producers might be trying to throw us off with this.
Woo hoo! We finally see the end of Zach! and what a classy exit it was, eh?
Do you think they planned all along to do a bugging of the guys, or did they come up with that plan when they realized, omigod, she’s got the hots for a major asshold?

Zach was the best guy there for Malena. They had chemistry from their very first date, something she hasn’t had with anyone else on the show. Sure, that short model guy she gets all lusty around probably turns her on more, but I doubt they’d last longer than a month as a couple. The dude has zero personality.
In fact, no one on the show has much of a personality. No one has a forceful and charsimatic presence, average or “hunky”. Zack’s the only one who comes closest to being an actual human being (albeit a childish and obnoxious one).
Adam isn’t funny, and he reeks of that"we’re just friends" vibe. John had that creepy virgin thing going on. And the model guys that came later, well I don’t know anything about them because they act so bland.
The only ones who really stuck out was Tariq and Brad (?). Tariq for being SO uncomfortably pretentious, and Brad for that amazing performance as a deluded, egomaniacal, stalker.
I have to agree that Zach was the best guy for her. I think if she actually thought about what was going on, she’d realize that boys will be boys and just because they say stupid things like he did (i.e. the DUFF), it doesn’t mean they really think like that. Zach has been trying to play the “man’s man” the whole game and everyone knows that if you put a group of men together, there is going be to a lot of BS going on. I don’t think he was being serious or anything. He was just playing it up trying to make himself look good in front of the other guys.
I notice in the previews for next week that she FINALLY kisses Adam. I was wondering if she would or not, especially since she has made out with several others. I don’t think she really likes him, so I’m going to guess that boring Jason will be the winner.

The teaser for next weeks show had Adam and Malena in his bedroom back home. He was showing her some kind of award or Forbes magazine cover, I assume for his own company. She makes the remark, “Do I even know you?!?” then laughs. From this I take it that Adam is actually a wealthy entrepreneur. That may make a big difference.
True, but do you think she still might be upset by his comments last night?? The ones referring to the cousin?? I was surprised she didn’t eliminate him and Zach. The cute guys didn’t really appear to say anything bad, but then again, who knows? That might have been edited out.
I have to say this was an interesting show just because the guys seemed almost “real”.
She’s kissed him before. In fact, when she did, she giggled and said, “Oh my God, you’re a great kisser!” – as though she didn’t expect someone as dumpy and goofy as Adam to be any good at First Base.
And may I say, I like fat chicks. But I didn’t like Marlena’s “Cousin.” The headgear probably made it hard for her to smile, and she just seemed so cold. If that little grilling session was my only exposure to Marlena’s “Cousin,” I probably wouldn’t have had many good things to say about her, either.
It’s funny that Adam thought the cousin looked like fat Monica on friends. I give him IQ points for that, even though he didn’t quite figure out why-- They’re both in costume, duh!
The whole bit about “They treated me poorly even though I’m the same person inside” was just about the supidest thing I’ve heard on that show. The “cousin” never said anything to reveal what she “was inside” other than a stiff exterior and a frozen look on her face. Considering she ditched all the overweight guys right off the bat, she just demonstrated what a spoiled, hipocrtical bitch she is.
I also think Jason is going to be the choice, and that they’ll last about 1 month together. Adam’s gotta be pissed. If it weren’t for the so-called cute guys, he’d be the winner already.
Adam had better just hope that no one shows her the footage of him telling the other guys that if the situation were reversed and there were other girls on the show he’s ditch Melena. That would probably screw him.
Now now, she didn’t ditch all the overweight guys. Adam’s an overweight guy. Kinda. A little bit. Maybe.
