Won’t someone please start February? The only thing I have to rant about is that there’s no new thread but that seems like a week start to the thread!

Cicero evidently had a really sore eye when he posted that thread. Let’s cut him some slack.
I am having a very slow (normal but frustrating) recovery from carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand; the left one is still healing; one of my friends is sick and unemployed–again; a colleague died in his sleep the other day; a long-time pen pal died at age 60; another one is undergoing chemo for breast cancer after a double mastectomy and has lost most of her hair.
Also, it’s too damn warm and dry here in CA.
That’s all.
