Yeah, it’s great – it has that light-hearted, slightly tongue-in-cheek feeling that programmes from the sixties and seventies like The Avengers and The Persuaders used to have.
I’ve been pleased to see the BBC producing some good enjoyable original drama in the last couple of years, like Spooks, New Tricks, and Doctor Who. It makes a pleasant change from what seems like total saturation of soaps and celebrity/reality TV.
