I liked this ad. It caught my attention, enough so that I clicked on the link to watch it again. I would say that makes it awesome, at least in the eyes of Verizon execs.
I don’t think it’s meant to be serious. He’s poking fun at himself, displaying a sense of humor about his movies. I think totally awesome does describe Michael Bay movies. “Good” and “worthy of my time” don’t.
