I’ll cop to not being that aware. And they’re probably hiding pretty effectively, or they’d get primaried in a [fetal*] heartbeat. Any that exist in public office should just go independent and caucus with the Democrats. Factionis Republicanis delendo est, as Cicero would put it.

Sure have. Pro choice, pro equal eights, anti–Trump…and probably the only reason he runs as a Republican is because a Democrat can’t win there. He supports the Republican platform about as much as I do.

You might want to look up the percentage of members of their General Assembly that are Democrats

Earlier today, with CNN on the the background, I heard an interview with Brittany Snow, who, it seems, was in a short film made in 2023.
The film is called Red, White and Blue, and it is a short, as it checks in at 22:37. Basically, the subject is abortion, and travelling from a state where it is illegal to a state where it is legal. I’m reluctant to say more, as to do so would lessen the impact (described by one reviewer as “a punch to the gut”).
Anyway, Snow made the point that the film was available for free on YouTube, though I wasn’t able to catch whether there was a time limit on that. At any rate, I had a look at it, and I’d suggest that when it comes to the abortion debate, the film is well worth watching. Here you go:
