People still read ?!
You mean on paper? Like back in the 1900’s?
People still read People.
Reading Rolling Stone for the political articles is like reading Mother Jones for its reviews of Taylor Swift albums.
Why would you do this?
And they’re the luckiest people innnnn theeeee worrrrrrrllllld …
In the real world in which people actually read the political articles in Rolling Stone and therefore have a clue to what they’re talking about, Rolling Stone publishes quite good articles about politics. They are conspicuously left-leaning and make no apologies for being so, and that needs to be discounted. The article about Bernie Sanders in the current issue is to be recommended.
Why would anyone who doesn’t bother to read the articles put out an opinion about them in public?
Maybe they’re just into the sexy pin-ups, like Boston Bomberboy? Rrrowrrr!
I have to disagree. I feel Rolling Stone is seen as a pretty influential source for political news. One big factor is they don’t focus on the “horse race” aspect of campaigns like many other media does. Rolling Stone is more likely to run a deeper analysis article that runs twenty pages.
Now a lot of people might dislike Rolling Stone’s political views but you can’t simply dismiss it. Agree with it or not, other people do read the articles - including other media people - and their articles get attention.
