Who remembers them, and what were their songs that might have been played on the radio?
Is this a real band? I always thought that was the dance you did to keep from shitting your pants when you had diarrhea.
I remember the group, but couldn’t tell you offhand what their songs were. I don’t think they were really so much a radio top 40 type group. I think I still have an album or two of theirs in my boxes of LPs in the basement.
I not only remember them, but I saw them in college, back about 1978 or so.
I seem to remember hearing “Cosmos Lady” on the radio, but could well be mistaken.
That’s the ticket. I’ll take a listen. They never had a hit but were a college group and got played on FM, just don’t know the names of tunes.
I saw them play at Colorscape here in Norwich two years ago. I don’t remember them from their heyday, and was confusing them with Aztec Camera.
I remember their one song that got airplay back in the 70s: The Persecution and Restoration of Dean Moriarty, a song far catchier than its name implies.
They seemed to show up at (legendary New Haven rock club) Toad’s Place every other week when I was in college. 1978-1982.
I never went to hear them and I have no idea what they sound like.
