Well, we’ve already got a Death Pool somewhere on here, which is sick enough, and as the police have recently estimated that as many as 97% of the UK male population will eventually be incarcerated as a result of Operation Ore, I thought it would be fun to see if we can guess who will be next to be spirited away in an unmarked car. You’re allowed up to ten guesses. Extra points if you make a correct choice that causes a genuinely massive scandal (MP, bishop, etc). I’ll start the ball rolling…

Excuse me for being ignorant, but what is a Nonce and what is Operation Ore?

I’d advise very strongly against making public allegations of criminal activity. The people who pay for and maintain the board probably don’t want to have to deal with a celeb’s lawyer breathing down their neck.

Nonce is prison slang for a child molester.

Operation Ore is a huge police exercise to round up suspected child molesters in the UK. I believe it is based on a list of about 7,000 names passed on to the UK police by the FBI, who created the list from cridt card details entered into websites offering pay-per-view child pornography.

The police have already arrested Pete Townshend and Henry Kelly ( a televsion celebrity over here, currently acting in pantomime which is…definitely going to take another lenthy thread to explain to anyone from outside of the UK and will confirm all sorts of your views about the sexual identity of us Brits) and there are rumours circulating that there are many other high profile people on the lists.

I think this thread is moments away from lockdown…
