nope IG is fine.
any way i did some more research, and in the UK it is illegal to abort a foetus if the only (and i do mean ONLY) reason is that it’s gender is not the required one. this is because it’s seen to violate the premise of sexual equality.
most hospitals in fact, do not tell parents the sex of their foetus at an early ultrasound (not very accurate) and do so,on request, only after 26 weeks (when it’s too late to abort a healthy baby in the UK)
like i said, i don’t have a problem with the technology and it’s application in some circumstances, but i DO think that
it panders to stereotyped and unrealistic perceptions of gender if used routinely.
you can’t change the world if you use the old standards.
