Back From The Dead And Double Jeopardy

Ken Lay’s death and the voiding of his convictions got me thinking about this one. Suppose he faked his death. Or miraculously came back to life. Or suppose he was on a plane that crashed in the Pacific, was presumed dead, had his convictions voided and then was rescued 10 years later. Pick whatever scenario you like - in short he was dead, had his convictions voided and then came back to life.

In short, what happens? Could his convictions be re-instated? Or is he now safe because of Double Jeopardy?

Wouldn’t that mean there was no final disposition in his case? If so, then I believe jeopardy would not attach.
