The premise of the OP is false. The media is not predominately liberal. Look how CNN , not exactly renowned as a conservative mouthpiece, handled the story.
Matthews and his crew on the whole do a decent job of evening out the coverage. It appears that CNN is drifting steadily to the right. There really isn’t a Democratic equivalent to FOX, so the notion that the media is biased to the left is without basis in fact.
Actually, the site IS “authorized”, but by the exact same people that “authorized” your other cites.
There actually are partisan mouthpieces that FoS are not involved in, but you sure seem to have a hard time finding them. Heck, you might even stumble across an unbiased source if you weren’t so afraid of the MSM.
Well no wonder you accept then the talking points of the right, you don’t want to analyze.
The point of looking at sustitutes is to show very plainly that FOX, who claims fairness and balancing, replaces their “star reporters” with right wing Republicans. If the MSM was liberal or even Democratic it would then make sence to find the MSM putting openly liberals or Democrats in the news desks when the “star liberal” talking heads are not present.
Because the MSM does not do that, it is really silly to call them democrat or even liberal, they are not showing any support for their alleged “base” when strange substitutes with no liberal or democratic background step up to the microphone.
The MSM is not liberal or even Democratic, the MSM constantly moves to be fairer to the right wing positions, regardless if they are BS.
How come nobody wants to tell me who in the list of names in post #35 are likely to pull the Republican lever this year?

I guess it’s because unlike yourself people on the boards don’t use the media as “fact dispensers”. You can’t honestly say you watch/read your normal media sources and accept it all as fact, can you? Everyone analyses what they read; i’m sure you do too.

I hope that none of them would pull a Republican lever this year. Considering that they’re in the Media, they’re presumably aware of current events in this country and around the world over the past few years. Plus, they’re all educated and can hopefully form a conclusion by applying logic and being rational, without bias or prejudice. What reason do they have to vote Republican?

Help me out… how could the OP have been made more worthy of intellectually honest debate. I suggested that a depressed base could be invigorated while a base that may not be getting a clear picture of things could be made complacent.
