Screenshots taken before and after they called Ohio.
FOX News flummoxes me. All their commentators and reporters, with perhaps the exception of Shep Smith, were wrong, wrong, wrong, completely wrong about the outcome of the election. Why do folks still listen and believe what they say? Karl Rove and Dick Morris for example? And what the heck was up with George Will? I always thought him a reasoned and thoughtful Republican.
Probably Roger Ailes dangled a substantial contract in front of him, and showed him a copy of the Washington Times with a story indicating that the cost of living in Foggy Bottom isn’t getting noticeably cheaper.
George Will does a decent shtick on TV, but he’s always been a hack. A litany of anti-Will pieces:

Religion is a matter of faith, not facts.
Same goes for Fox.
So…does Fox count as Religious Programming then, like TBN?
light bulb appears over head
Ah!..now I FINALLY get it!
Fox is such a huge part of the Republican machine - I don’t understand how they can still claim to be Fair and Balanced with straight faces, all of em.
Can anyone confirm that Fox took significantly longer than the other networks to call the election for Obama? than I watched the Comedy Central and Washington Post live coverage and they only mentioned it offhandedly.
The same way The Onion can claim to be “America’s Finest News Source”…
There’s tongue in cheek, and then there’s head up ass.
It all depends on which cheek your tongue is in, I guess.
When all the networks, including Fox, had called Obama the winner, I just had to watch Fox for a few more minutes. It was Rove spluttering and repeating himself about …Hamilton County(OH)…don’t count Ohio just yet…
He just couldn’t make himself believe that it was over.
I slept like a baby last night after watching that.
Well, now Fox know it alls can have something to talk about for at least 4 more years.Perhaps their negative talk helped Obama more than they know!
and whose ass your head is up…
They officially called it within moments of everyone else. My understanding is that their pundits and anchors were awkwardly arguing Ohio wasn’t ready to be called and that the election wasn’t decided long after. But if you went to foxnews.com it said Obama won as fast as I was able to check after hearing CNN call it.
FOX called before MSNBC. MSNBC was very conservative when calling swing states. FOX called Ohio before MSNBC.
It was very amusing to watch him hem and haw over that one single county, talking about “only 900 votes difference” while the HUGE graphic next to him was showing the overall state vote with a difference of tens of thousands (not to mention right above that it read “Obama wins re-election”). What a fucking douchebag. He needs to go hunting with Dick Cheney.
If anyone has links to video clips of the choicer moments, I’d love to see them. I really enjoyed reading the play-by-play in the election day thread.
Here’s the Karl Rove thing. Even the on-air anchors were shaking their heads at him.
Karl Rove was integrally involved in their on-air coverage last night. Karl Rove was perhaps the single biggest Romney money guy as the head of the American Crossroads SuperPAC.
Karl Rove was free to stir up controversy about the Ohio call.
There is no doubt that Fox is a Republican operation.
Here they are on the couch having a major sad: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021739963
