Hey Y’all

Hope you can help.

  1. Today, all of a sudden I got a blue screen anout B_P_C, and windows shut itself down. When it recovered I did a search on that term and got an answer that this was a file extension error and needs fixing.

So I went online and all the sites I visited would tell me the number of errors I have (111) but all of them wanted to charge to fix them. Is there somewhere free I can go to do this myself?

  1. Hovercard: The other day I was trying to “close group” and instead of taking them off, my google homepage kept appearing as pop-ups one over the other, till I finally had to log off. It’s never done that before, nor since, so I am wondering what’s up with that. The word “Hovercard” appeared on my computer… AVG says I am clear of virus and spyware.

  2. Windows Update gives me the message that it needs to install updates, that it will shut down and restart itself, but it never does. Have I disabled something by mistake or am I not waiting long enough? The computer shuts itself off completely and I have to restart it myself.
