So, the game played with an oval shaped ball by Americans wearing armor or Europeans in their underwear is “Rugby football”, right?
Every now and then there is a twelfth badger on the pitch, in front of the goalpost. I therefore feel that some of the goals should be disallowed.

Not quite, the game played with an oval shaped ball by Americans in armour is referred to here as American football. The sport played, as you out it by “Europeans in their underwear” is rugby football, of one of two types, League or Union. We’ll soon have you americans giving sports their proper names
Still, it’s only just this week that I realised that what americans call a zucchini is actually a courgette :smack:
Anyway, back to the matter in hand, BADGERS! Is it possible that people are imagining the ‘b’ sound due to their conditioned expectations when they hear the badger song?
