Disc-shaped device with blades that, when lit, will spin and lift off the ground into the air, spraying sparks. Now made of plastic, they used aluminum for the body back when I was a kid. Frankly, I think these were better, as we had problems with the heat of the sparks deforming the plastic blades, resulting in failure to launch.
