It was really late at night, we were tired, it was there. In the morning, we noticed how filthy the carpet was, dirty enough to leave marks on our feet.

I’ve stayed at plenty of cheap hotels (Motel 6, Days Inn, etc.) and Red Roof Inn is priced the same. But this one outside of SEA/TAC was surprisingly good. The room was spacious, very clean, and had free wifi and HDTV (which was fairly new at the time).

I was part of a large group sharing a room which seemed fine at the time, if a little rundown, until days later when anyone who slept on the floor got a rash.

Built in little “casitas”, individual small buildings on a hillside overlooking the Pacific. It was a great honeymoon location and I’m sad to hear of Acapulco’s crime problems

Located in a beautiful area in Iceland. It had cozy cottages and a Tröllagarðurinn, or Troll’s Park. The view was awesome and we loved it there despite oversleeping and missing breakfast.

Landmark round glass building, but its being round means that the windows leak!

Featured in Logan’s Run, True Lies and In the Line of Fire, among other films, IIRC.

  13. The hotel I stayed at in the middle of Wyoming (name escapes me)

It was surrounded by oil fields, and smelled like it.

Memorable moments and scenes from the Daniel Craig James Bond films

  1. The entire parkour sequence in the opening of Casino Royale. It was good to establish this Bond as a determined man who could take a lot of punishment and cut through Gordian knots.
